What’s the difference in a pole tent and a frame tent?
Pole tents are a little bit more economical but are also a little more restrictive. They must be staked into the ground and are tension-based, therefore they have guy-lines pulling the liner outside the perimeter of the tent. They also have at least one pole in the center. Frame tents do not require the tension lines, may be staked or weighted and have an unobstructed interior view. Because they have no tension lines, they are more accommodating to smaller spaces.
What Is A Clear Span Structure?
A ClearSpan tent has no interior poles which allow for an unobstructed view throughout the entire event space. They provide comfort inside while keeping the elements at bay. The size of ClearSpan Tents varies depending on the function and use of the structure. The framework provides many points throughout the tent for hanging lighting and décor of substantial weight.
The biggest advantage to these tents are that they are engineered structures able to withstand certain windloads for long term and in certain areas that require a more durable structure.
What Is A Double Decker Tent?
Are Your Tents Wind Rated?
All clearspan structures are wind rated to different windloads depending on installation settings.
